Having a different year is just like having a different date. People keep telling me that they expect the next year to be that much better because it's a different year.

I'm lost in that logic.

but I suppose whatever gives people hope for better things is good.

If you were stuck on an isolated island and didn't know that it was new years eve, what difference would it have made?

so I concluded people just like inevible changes.
